Image Resizer

Resize an image to a ready-made preset, such as Instagram square, HD or passport photo, or type any exact width and height in pixels. By default it stretches your photo to fit the exact dimensions you set, so uncheck “Keep original aspect ratio” only if you want an exact size regardless of shape. The output is PNG, preserving transparency and quality; use Image Converter afterward if you need JPEG. If your goal is a file-size limit in KB rather than exact dimensions, use Compress Image to Size instead.

Frequently asked questions

Does resizing to a square preset stretch or crop my photo?

It stretches to fit the exact dimensions you set. If your photo isn't already square and you resize to 1080x1080, it will look stretched, uncheck “Keep original aspect ratio” only if you specifically want an exact size regardless of shape.

Do I need Image Resizer or Compress Image to Size?

Image Resizer changes pixel dimensions (e.g. to 1080x1080). Compress Image to Size instead targets a file size in KB, useful when a form has a KB upload limit rather than a dimension requirement.

What output format do I get?

PNG by default, which preserves transparency and quality. There's no dedicated JPEG option here, use the Image Converter tool afterward if you need JPEG specifically.
