How is an overnight shift handled?
If the clock-out time is earlier than the clock-in time (for example 22:00 to 06:00), it's treated as crossing midnight and the hours are calculated correctly across the day boundary.
What does the overtime threshold do?
It's a simple total-hours cutoff for the whole period (40 hours by default, adjustable) - if your total goes over it, the extra hours are highlighted. It's a straightforward reference, not a substitute for your employer's or jurisdiction's actual overtime rules, which can vary.
Is my data sent anywhere?
