AI PDF Translator
Upload a PDF, pick a target language, and get the extracted text translated with AI - download the result as a PDF or a .docx file.
AI-generated translation: it can misread context or produce an imperfect translation, especially for technical or legal wording. Always verify anything important against the original PDF.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Image Translator?
Image Translator runs OCR on a picture of text. This tool works on a PDF's real, already-extracted text - no OCR involved - which is generally more accurate for PDFs that already contain selectable text, and it outputs a downloadable PDF or .docx instead of just showing translated text on screen.
Will tables, columns or layout be preserved?
No. Only the text content and paragraph/line breaks are preserved - complex layouts like tables, multi-column pages or side-by-side text boxes won't be reconstructed, and content from them may come out of order.
How accurate is the translation?
It's generated by a free AI model and can misread context, get idioms wrong, or mistranslate technical/legal terminology. Always verify anything important against the original PDF before relying on the translation.
What happens with very long PDFs?
Long documents are automatically split into sections and translated piece by piece, then stitched back together in order - it's not just cut off after the first page. Extremely long documents are still capped at an overall size limit, in which case the tool tells you only the first part was translated.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
Text is extracted from the PDF in your browser first. Only that plain text (not the file itself) is sent to a free AI model to translate it, and it isn't stored afterward.
