Does pasting a URL send my content to a server?
When you use the URL tab, the page is fetched through our server since browsers can't fetch arbitrary cross-origin pages directly, but the PDF itself is still rendered entirely in your browser afterward. If you paste HTML directly instead, nothing leaves your browser at all.
Will it capture JavaScript-rendered content or external fonts?
It renders a snapshot of the HTML as it appears in your browser, so styles and images that load normally will show up, but content that depends on JavaScript running after the initial load, like data fetched asynchronously, may not appear.
Is there a limit on how much HTML I can convert?
There's no hard limit, but very long or complex pages take longer and produce larger PDFs, since the content is rendered as an image before being split across pages. Keep it to a reasonably sized document for best results.
