Is my photo sent to a server?
The image you submit is sent only to generate that one response, using a free AI model, and is not stored afterward.
Does it work on handwriting or angled, low-quality photos?
It can often handle handwriting and imperfect photos reasonably well since it uses an AI vision model, but very messy handwriting, extreme angles or blurry text can still trip it up.
Can I use it for something other than extracting text?
Yes, the prompt box is editable. Instead of the default text-extraction prompt, you can ask it to describe the photo or write alt text for it.
