What kinds of inconsistencies does it look for?
The same person's name spelled or formatted differently in different places, dates that appear to conflict, amounts or numbers referring to the same thing that don't match, and addresses that differ when they seem to refer to the same place.
What does "location" mean in a finding?
Either the page marker (for an uploaded PDF) or a short snippet of the surrounding text, so you can quickly find the spot in your document that's worth checking.
Can I paste text instead of uploading a PDF?
Yes, switch to the "Paste text" tab and paste any text directly - useful for content that isn't in a PDF, like an email thread or a Word document you've copied from.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
For a PDF, text is extracted in your browser first. Either way, only the plain text (not the original file) is sent to a free AI model to run the check, and it isn't stored afterward.
