Why does it say my PDF has no fillable fields?
This tool fills existing AcroForm fields already built into the PDF (common for official/government forms). A scanned or “flat” PDF has no such fields to fill - it's just an image of a form, not an interactive one.
Can I fill checkboxes and dropdowns, not just text?
Yes, the tool detects each field's type (text, checkbox, radio button, dropdown) and shows the right input for it automatically.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No, form fields are read and filled entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Nothing is sent anywhere.
